Once more three of the four of us could meet, this time it has been (on the picture from left to right) Rafael Blau, Elzbieta Opilowska and Dominik Kretschmann and we met in the Wrocław University Centre for the Culture and Languages of the Jews (http://www.judaistyka.uni.wroc.pl/judaistyka/index.php), where Joanna Lisek (yes, she is the fourth person) showed us many, many different, impressive, interesting and astonishing sources connected with the Dzierżoniów Yishuv and we can use them for the project. We already found a date to come back, choose, copy and scan and it is great for our project to have the support of Mrs. Lisek and the Centre.
Another institution which has already provided very valuable support is the Museum of the history of Polish Jews in Warsaw (http://www.jewishmuseum.org.pl/index.php?lang=en).

Our international students team (5 coming from Israel, 3 from Poland, 4 from Germany) will be working until May 3rd with our team on the issue of the post-war Jewish yishuv in Reichenbach/Dzierzoniów in Lower Silesia.
