Geschichtswerkstatt Europa was founded in 2005 with the help of the "Remembrance and Future" fund of the Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future" and the Robert Bosch Stiftung. 50 projects involving participants from 25 countries were supported up until 2008.
