The first months of our project were dedicated to reasearch work, each of us with specific interests:
- Julia was doing research on the general topic in Polish libraries and constantly reworking the methodology paper
- Flaviu was just finding the first memoirs and books on Cluj after the Second World War and was digging deeply into the atmosphere of the epoch
- Diana was mostly based in Cluj-Napoca, gathering material from libraries in Cluj and contacting possible future interviewees.
Also, from the 12th of April to the 21st of April, during a reasearch visit at the libraries in Budapest, Hungary (ELTE and CEU), Diana visited the Memento Park Budapest, and gathered information about how Budapest's urban space changed after WWII and its impact on the citizens of the city.
