Currently coordinator of Malopolskie Towarzystwo Oswiatowe – Bruno Vastmans is organizing a new project - Religions in Movement, which unites 4 countries: Poland (MTO), Germany (AG Alte Synagoge), Ukraine (Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture) and Belarus (Youth Public Union “Belarusian Architectural Students Association” (BASA)). The idea of the project is to discover how immediately after the Second World War survivors, refugees, expelled or displaced persons in a completely new environment behaved towards the lack of their own sacral buildings and towards the sacral buildings they found in their new hometowns.
The first meeting with partner organizations and with sponsor - Geschichtswerkstatt Europa was already organized in Słubice, Poland (Polish-German border) on 8-12 February 2012 as a Meeting on the Oder. During this meeting the partners could present winning projects, make contacts with other grant applicants from all over the world, exchange their opinions, comments, propose their help in project realization and simply have fun. It was a very necessary and fruitful meeting both for project groups and all applicants in general.
After this meeting MTO according to the plan, is organizing its own meeting with partners in March 22-26 in Nowy Sacz, Poland. On this inner meeting a strategy and way of work on this project will be chosen with all representatives.
