"Lückengefühl" and many visitors

A very exciting and busy week and an extraordinary weekend is now behind us!

We are still thrilled how many guests came from friday to sunday to visit our exhibition. Without statistical tricks ;) we counted around 400 (!!!) visitors coming through our door throughout all weekend. Of course we are not the only space responsible for this huge number: the gallery where we exhibited, Kunstraum PANIPANAMA, is member of a network of 10 independent artist run exhibtion places, and for the fifth time this network had its meanwhile very popular open gallery day, so many art interested Leipzigers and people from other cities found their way out to Lindenau, the meanwhile quite trendy city quarter where our galleries are situated. Plus we had excellent golden october weather so the Leipziger's were happy coming to visit us!!! :-)

There were so many nice and interested remarks and questions and talks with visitors! Beside the art and cultures crowd there were also anthropologists and geographers visiting us, e.g. the director of the Leibniz-Institute of Regional Geography or a professor heading a huge project on nomadism at the Leipzig university.

For next week we will prepare a photo documentary and a a small overview of press announcements of this event - but till then we first take a little break :-)
