News on the project about changing World War II memories broadcasted among students

Photo: Défilé of ministers at the celebration of the 65^th anniversary of the WWII Slovak National Uprising in Banská Bystrica (29th August 2009). The observer has been coming to the celebrations for decades, watching the parades of changing governments coming and going away.

The information about our project Remembering and Forgetting World War II within Changing Political Contexts from 1945 to the Present - Public Usage of WWII Monuments in Slovakia and Bosnia-Herzegovina has been posted on the portal of Tortenelemerettsegi, the association the aim of which is to assist Hungarian high school students with their yearly mandatory completion exam, as well as promoting comparative and multicultural approach to studying and teaching history in Hungary.
